I’m the team leader at Valentino’s Hair Design and I lead by example.

I am humorous and love interacting with people. My wife Cilla and I own and operate Valentino’s. I have been in the industry for over forty years and I’m still as passionate about hairdressing as when I started at sixteen years old.

My motto has always been – take the time and do it right. This has stood me in good stead and would like to think that’s why my clients and my staff have all been extremely loyal to me.

I specialize in cutting and I love to see people happy and comfortable about themselves when they leave the salon.

I have been in the industry for over thirty years.

I originally trained at Valentino’s Hair Design at the age of nineteen.  After completing my training I decided to spread my wings and widen my experiences for a few years and worked elsewhere. Now that i have returned I love working back at Valentino’s, with Adem and the team.

I specialise in cutting, styling and colouring and enjoy learning the latest techniques.  I am always enthusiastic and excited creating beautiful bridal hair-ups.

I love all things hair, but if we’re talking about my absolute obsession… it’s colouring!!

From soft, lived-in blondes to bold foils and seamless balayage, creating the perfect colour is where I thrive.

I’m known for having a fun, friendly personality and I love bringing that energy into the salon, I want every appointment to feel relaxed, welcoming, and full of good vibes. Whether you’re in for a big transformation or a subtle refresh, I’ll make sure you leave feeling confident, comfortable, and loving your hair.

That said, I’m always up for a transformation, whether it’s a fresh cut, a colour switch-up, or something totally new. Your hair goals are my priority

Senior Stylist

With nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, I’ve honed my hairdressing skills in colouring, cutting and styling, working with a diverse range of clients both in Japan and New Zealand.

My approach is all about creating personalised looks that make you feel amazing.

I’m passsionate about create the hair of your dreams.

When I’m not behind the chair, youll find me catching waves at the beach or expolring NZ’s beautiful outdoors.  Lets work together to create a look that’s uniquely you.

Emerging Stylist

I’m an emerging stylist, thrilled to be working and learning from the super talented team here at Valentino’s.

I’m all about helping people feel amazing and giving them a Glow UP in real life.

Right now, I’m sharpening my cutting & colouring skills to create looks for every kind of client.

I’ve rocked a bunch of creative cuts and wild colours myself, so I am obsessed with alternative styles and bold, playful colour – and I’d love to help you create a look that’s 100% you.

Can’t wait to meet you and start this hair adventure together!

IZZY

Hi, I’m Isabella, but everyone calls me Izzy.

I’m a second-year apprentice with big goals, a bright bubbly personality, and I genuinely love a good chat while I work with you.

When you sit in my chair, you can expect care, focus, and high standards in everything I do.

I have high expectations of my work and won’t settle for anything less than my best for you.

I’m currently offering colour retouches, global colours and toners, along with beautiful blow dries, styling, and braiding.

With a steady hand, a perfectionist eye, and full attention on you, my goal is to make sure you leave feeling confident, looked after, and loving your hair!
