I’m the team leader at Valentino’s Hair Design and I lead by example.

I am humorous and love interacting with people. My wife Cilla and I own and operate Valentino’s. I have been in the industry for over forty years and I’m still as passionate about hairdressing as when I started at sixteen years old.

My motto has always been – take the time and do it right. This has stood me in good stead and would like to think that’s why my clients and my staff have all been extremely loyal to me.

I specialize in cutting and I love to see people happy and comfortable about themselves when they leave the salon.

I have been in the industry for over thirty years.

I originally trained at Valentino’s Hair Design at the age of nineteen.  After completing my training I decided to spread my wings and widen my experiences for a few years and worked elsewhere. Now that i have returned I love working back at Valentino’s, with Adem and the team.

I specialise in cutting, styling and colouring and enjoy learning the latest techniques.  I am always enthusiastic and excited creating beautiful bridal hair-ups.

Hello I’m Tomomi Yonaha. I am originally from Tokyo Japan. I have over 16 years experience in the hairdressing industry. My strengths and passion, in hairdressing, is all forms of colouring including Balayage, and i also excel in cutting and creating new styles for clients.

In my spare time i love to surf and explore the beautiful scenery of New Zealand.

It is a pleasure to join the team at Valentinos and i’m excited to meet all new and existing clients.

Hi im Anika

I am very excited to complete my apprenticeship alongside some very talented hairdresser’s here at Valentinos.

I am passionate about making people feel great which includes giving people extraordinary colours. Im sort of an ‘out there’ kind of girl and have worn many exciting hair colours myself.

Here at Valentinos i have the opportunity to work with Wella, one of the world’s best colour products and im looking forward to learning all about that and new colouring skills.

I look forward to meeting and getting to know you all.

ISABELLA

Hi I am Isabella but i liked to be called Izzy.

I am nineteen and just beginning an apprenticeship at Valentinos.

I have grown up excelling at dance and loving beauty including a great love for makeup. I was always the one to do my friends hair for our dance performances and formals etc and i guess you could say i have a natural ability with hair.

I am a bright and bubbly person and I’m looking forward to learning from all the great experienced stylists at Valentinos.
